Added Bonus 

Refer some friends, family members, acquaintances to work at CLO and along with the $ 100/$ 50 referral bonus, you will receive a $20 Holiday gift card when each of those referrals completes their first scheduled home shift.

Along with the gift card, for each person you actively recruited, you will receive a $100 bonus when that person maintains active employment status full time at 6 months or a $50 bonus if they are active part time at 6 months, based on a proportion of total hours worked for the 6 month period.

DSP Hourly Wage Increase Effective January 1st , 2021

All DSP will see an increase in wages on January 1st.

All new hire DSP will be eligible for a wage step increase at their 3 month hire date followed by annual increases on a progressive pay scale. Talk to your DC and for new hires, contact Josi at 651-237-1087

CLO 9th SAFE Team Fishing Trip Extravaganza !!!!!!! –    will be held Friday, August 27th, 2021

Individual Summer Party – Carnival –  Saturday, September 18th 

Thanks to everyone who made the Individual Carnival Party a great success.

The weather was beautiful, the individuals had a great time and it was fun to see everyone.

It appears we had over 130 individuals and staff throughout the day, so a really nice turn out.

These are special days for our folks and I am very proud to be part of a team that makes it happen for them.

Designated Coordinator – Pine City 1

Position: Designated Coordinator (DC) Posting Date: 9-30-21

Location: PC1, Mission Creek, Homestead, South Park, Brook Park

The Designated Coordinator will be responsible for the overall operation of all of the established homes.

QUALIFICATIONS: Designated Coordinator:
4 year degree plus 1 year full time equivalent providing direct care (or)
2 year degree plus 2 years full time equivalent providing direct care (or)
Diploma (accredited post-secondary) plus 3 years full time equivalent providing direct care
(or)
Minimum of 50 hours of education/training plus 4 years full time equivalent providing direct care under the supervision of a staff person who is one of the above

· At least two years of House Manager experience with CLO or four years supervisory experience in the human services field.
· The Designated Coordinator must have CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Intervention training/certification. Must be able to negotiate stairways. Should be familiar or willing to learn information regarding employment law, federal and state rules/regulations related to individual care.
· The Designated Coordinator must study and pass requirements to become a Qualified Professional. This will be completed in a 1×1 session with the Program Director and computer classwork of the Positive Supports Rule.

This position is salaried with hours that have some flexibility. You need to have a strong desire to help improve the client’s lives, have patience, organizational skills and the ability to handle paperwork, while not forgetting the client’s needs come first. Person Centered thinking is required. Skills will also include computer experience, the ability to interact positively with families, case managers and staff and to handle other duties that come your way.

HOUSE MANAGER POSITION POSTING FOR HOMESTEAD

Duties: The House Manager is responsible for the day to day functioning of the home. They function as a team leader and structure the daily shifts to ensure the consumers receive the highest quality of care possible. The House Manager will supervise staff in the household, ensuring scheduling is appropriate for the individual’s needs, replace staff as needed, facilitate staff meetings, and complete necessary paperwork, among other duties assigned by the Designated Coordinator.

Hours: 40 hours/week, The House Managers hours may change to meet the needs of the clients, must be flexible.

HOUSING SUPPORT SPECIALIST POSITION POSTING
FOR BLUE AND GRAY HOMES (only 2 Individuals)

Duties: The Housing Support Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the home. They function as a team leader and structure the daily shifts to ensure the consumers receive the highest quality of care possible. The Housing Support Specialist will supervise staff in the household, ensuring scheduling is appropriate for the individuals needs and replace staff as needed, facilitate staff meetings, complete necessary paper work, among other duties.

Hours: 40 hours/week. 30 hours a week working direct care in the home. Remainder of hours are designed as paperwork time and staff interaction time which is also spent in the home. The Housing Support Specialist needs to be flexible with hours to meet individual’s needs. The Housing Support Specialist is on call every 8th weekend.

Qualifications: The Housing Support Specialist needs to be innovative, flexible, organized, be able to balance many tasks at one time, be a role model to all direct support professionals, and have a positive attitude during challenging situations. This position requires someone who is an effective communicator and self-directed, as well as a role model for the individuals who reside in this home. Must be able to assist in therapeutic intervention and be able to negotiate stairs. Must have knowledge and experience with person centered thinking. Candidates must have a good work history, professional work references, and at least one year experience with C.L.O preferred, but not required.
