Please keep in mind our New Employee Referral Program

If a new employee is actively recruited by a current employee, the referring employee receives a $ 10 Holiday Gift Card when the new employee completes their first week of orientation.

The referring employee also receives a $100 bonus when the referred employee maintains active employment status full time at 6 months or a $50 bonus if the referred employee is active part time at 6 months, based on a proportion of total hours worked for the 6 month period.

DSP Hire Longevity Bonus

Bonus at 6 month for Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff $250 full time/ $100 part time/relief

All new DSP hires are eligible at their 6 month hire date anniversary for a longevity bonus by meeting criteria for either full time status ($250 bonus) or part time/relief status ($100 bonus). Talk to your DC or the office for specific information.

Thanks to everyone who came and made it another great Halloween party.  We packed the Linwood Center, this was by far the largest turn out ever with over 250 individuals and staff attending.

 Special thanks to Anoka Washington: Josi, Linda, Crystal, Molly for hosting this year.  The food was great.

 Thanks to Kris, Sheila, Deedree, Dale and all the staff who helped make it happen.

The neighborhood judging was extra difficult this year. The following are the neighborhood judging results, I have also attached a notice to post in the homes.

 1st Place      North Branch 2 – Creek Valley II          $ 250 for neighborhood party and possession of the Traveling Trophy

This home consists of 4 high-functioning mostly independent male individuals. Ages range from late 20’s to 50’s – 3 of the 4 individuals are their own guardians.

 

POSITION TITLE:                              House Manager

 

SUMMARY:                                       The House Manager is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the CLO site. The House Manager functions as a team leader and will structure the daily shifts to ensure the individuals receive the best care available each day, and that assigned shifts run as smoothly as possible.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:                           One year experience in the Human Services field preferred. Must complete CPR, 1st Aid and Medication Administration Training within one (1) month of employment date. Must be able to negotiate stairs, lift 25 or more pounds and be able to assist in transferring and mobilizing non-ambulatory individuals in daily routine and during emergencies. Must be able to meet State and Federal licensing guidelines for direct care employees. Must have computer and interpersonal skills. The House Manager should be innovative with this position, have enough flexibility to meet the changing needs of the individuals, and have a take charge attitude on shifts worked.

 

HOURS:                                              40 Hours/week. Weekend on call rotation. Need to be flexible with hours to meet individual needs.

RELATIONSHIP:                                The House Manager reports to the Designated Coordinator.
